Business Trip to China (Shanghai) - China Eastern Airlines

I'm traveling on a business trip from Berlin to Shanghai with China Eastern Airlines. After departing from Berlin, I'm currently taking a short break at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport lounge. If you book the Runway service in Berlin at the right time, you can quickly go through security and enter.

After landing, I went through the transit gate for passport control (a visa is mandatory if you've lived in Germany for a long time), and there was almost no line. In Korea, there is a system for automated clearance, but the machines were closed, perhaps due to malfunction. In Germany, they also have a system called EasyPass, where you can register once at the airport and use automated clearance for departures.

After completing passport control, I came directly to the KLM Crown Lounge (L52), where I’m waiting and writing briefly. My flight is at Gate E20, which is about a 9-minute walk from here. The KLM Crown Lounge at L25 seems to be for those traveling within the Schengen visa area.

The flight from Amsterdam to Shanghai takes approximately 10 hours and 45 minutes. You can check the route at https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/CES772/history/20241117/1910Z/EHAM/ZSPD.

This business trip is a bit long and feels burdensome, but I hope to accomplish my goals and return successfully. I have some free time over the weekend, but I’m not sure what to do yet. Also, I’m wondering if I’ll be able to access Tistory while in China... 😥
